I started by comparing the weight and growth rate of my hand-reared babies with those being reared by the parents and experimented with feeding formulas until I arrived at one which gave me similar results
It was difficult knowing what weight a baby should be at any given stage of development and how much food to feed it at that weight
The references to feeding times are: - 2 hourly feeds (9 times daily) - from 7 a.m
3 hourly feeds - 7 a.m.; 9 a.m.; 11 a.m
4 hourly feeds (5 times daily) - 7 a.m
5 hourly feeds (4 times daily) - 7 a.m
Twice daily - late morning and late evening Once daily - late evening feed to ensure they have a full crop overnight

RSS feeds are surprisingly difficult for the average user to use.
The Usability of Subscribing to Feeds I have always been bothered by how difficult it is to subscribe to RSS/Atom feeds
Feedburner does a great job of designing feeds for browsers so that they look attractive, and have clear instructions on what they're for -- but you still have to click on them to get there
I'm working on a product right now that is full of feeds, and I want to make sure the experience is appropriate for anyone, regardless of how much experience they've had with RSS
It's a javascript-based intercept that tries to explain what is happening, offers a link for more help, and provides the actual feed link
This may break that.) Ignoring the text for now, are these the right elements? Quick headline, a sentence of description, a link to more help, and a link to the feed
How would you describe the process of adding a bunch of data encapsulated in an XML vocabulary into something called either a news aggregator or feed reader? What is the interaction model? Does it display onMouseOver? onClick? How does it go away? Most importantly: is this even a problem that needs to be solved? Should we be content to wait for the incremental evolution of browsers? Or is feed aggregation becoming second nature -- a convention akin to hypertext's underlined links? Lots of questions, but an interesting discussion

A complete lamb milk replacer feeder
FEEDING THE NEWBORN LAMB All lambs need to receive colostrum soon after birth
We recommend freezing colostrum in single feeding sizes (8 oz.)
Thaw frozen colostrum and feed it at body temperature
High heat destroys the antibodies, which is the reason for feeding colostrum to newborn lambs
FEEDING LAMBS After lambs receive three feedings of colostrum over the first 12 to 18 hours of life, wait 4 to 5 hours before feeding them liquid milk replacer
Self feeding requires less labor and allows the lamb to suckle as often as it desires and to set its own level of consumption
Self feeding also helps to prevent digestive upsets
To train lambs to suckle on self feeders, start them on cold formula and help the lambs feed every 6 hours until they learn to nurse from the nipple feeder
Feed the lambs colostrum that is the same temperature you plan to use throughout the feeding period
If you feed milk replacer by free choice, make sure it is cold to prevent over consumption at a single feeding
Lambs consume 1 to 2 quarts of milk replacer daily on self-feeders
