Why the change? Well, the Java GUI has become too much of a pain when it comes to adding new features and moving things around
The change to HTML should make feature/layout changes MUCH easier
Barnhart doesn't just want us to learn their history, he also wants us to appreciate these musicians and their music as much as he does
If the ability to play by ear is shared by all great jazz musicians, why do very few jazz method books and classrooms ever mention it? And, if knowledge of jazz theory isn't essential, then why do ALL jazz books and classrooms spend so much time talking about it? These questions are even more perplexing when I think about the fact that NONE of the struggling players I've known can play well (or at all) by ear, yet most have had a decent grasp of theory
But, how can advanced theory really help someone who can't even play 'Happy Birthday' by ear? If you can't play something that easy by ear, what hope could you have to improvise a musical jazz solo? Not much
I may not know as much about jazz and jazz improvisation as the average jazz educator, but I'm extremely familiar with the challenges facing struggling jazz musicians

I think everyone's really happy with how much we got done
It's very much straight-ahead pop with a blazing Thin Lizzy-esque guitar solo in the middle
So those two are pretty much ready to go on the album? Yeah, I think so
I think maybe this time we'll hold it back a bit more.With going back to the three-piece, the bass is going to be very much more prominent
He's had pretty much the same set-up since we started, but now he's changed things around and got rid of the distortion pedals
Did you enjoy New York? Well I didn't see all that much of it, cos I was in the studio
The raw and more realistic sound is so much better than track-by-track studio mixing

Although some of these lyrics have been called 'Zen' lyrics by at least one misguided soul, they in fact owe much to an anthology of Chinese poetry called by A
Reluctantly, I've used the modern pin'yin transliteration of the names of the poets for the sake of consistency, even though I personally much prefer the old transliteration 'Li Ho' to the pin'yin version 'Li He'
Since the lyrics are much clearer than on A Saucerful of Secrets , the line 'Witness the man who raves at the wall / Making the shape of his questions to Heaven' fairly leapt out at me
His analysis of the lyrics is much closer than anything I could have made
Now that I've found the Lyrical Sources site, there's not much point in combing the book for the source of Pink Floyd lyrics; the work has all been done

Interesting that Prager uses the word “fear”, because another way to structure his sentence would be, “The liberal world fears—and much of it loathes—people who are ruining their lives more than people who are not.” You would think a conservative would sign onto the self-interested argument for why liberals “waste” so much column space condemning people who think all Jews are going to hell, that women are moral degenerates that need to be under male control, that sex is evil and that the youth of America’s energies are best spent getting shot to death in the Middle East rather than building their lives here
